The Billion Dollar Network
Whenever we hear about the success stories of companies such as Google, Yahoo, and other such Internet giants - we often think of these projects as being one of fractions of luck. Indeed, if you think about it long enough, you will be able to identify that these businesses all began with a few cards up their sleeve.
However, as much as we don't want to admit, these business ideas are now worth billions of dollars. Yes, we can see the envy building up inside you already. Unfortunately, turning a small garage business business into a multi-million-dollar empire does not happen on a daily basis. But then again, it does happen fairly regularly.
So, do you think you could create the next billion dollar business? Why not? Perhaps it is because you don't currently have the skills or knowledge to do so. But then again, neither did the people who created these businesses in the first place. The reality is, that they had to learn the skills as well. Therefore, it seems a reasonable assumption to make, that you should be able to acquire these skills as well.
Still Undiscovered
Creating another billion-dollar search engine is probably not going to be the easiest task. We already have a number of search engines on the market, which do an amazing job, and which have hundreds of thousands of hours worth of research behind them. Therefore, trying to break in to the search engine market will, in 99/100 times, be a failure. Let us assure you, that many people have tried.
In saying this, there are still thousands of business ideas which are yet to be discovered. Do you remember something called the million Dollar homepage? This was a project taken on by a school student, in order to earn a bit of extra money to pay his college tuition. After a bit of publicity and luck, the student earned $1 million. Why are we bringing this up? Because this is a clear example that even 12 years after the beginning of the Internet, there are still new, fresh ideas which are yielding tremendous results.
As you can see, there are so many possibilities out there. If you can just think of one, and turned that into a successful online enterprise, you too could be retiring at the age you have always dreamed.
